Bio

Hello!  Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Jeanene Wantland.  I have lived in Arizona my entire life.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development.  I am also an AMI Certified Montessori Guide.  I have worked with children in educational settings for over 30 years.  I have a deep love of children and great passion for the Montessori method of education!  I am married, have 7 children and 2 dogs.  I have worked in faith-based educational settings, and private schools, as well as charter schools.  I have worked with children of many ages –3 years old through 4th grade.  While I enjoy all children, I have a special rapport with the little ones (2-6 years old).  We understand one another (for I am truly a child at heart) and they bring me such joy!   Outside of the classroom I enjoy biking, hiking, baking, reading, listening to music and most of all, time with family and friends. I look forward to bringing my wide and varied experiences, as well as the beauties and knowledge of the Montessori method to all the little ones in my care.  I have seen first-hand the way a Montessori education allows each child to reach incredible academic heights, as well as the way it forms them into wonderfully adept social beings.  The Montessori method educates the whole child, academically, socially, physically and here at Mystical Rose, spiritually.  I am excited to continue my work with children at Mystical Rose Montessori!
